Join B’nai Brooklyn and The Neighborhood for a special Shabbat Hang, celebrating the Jewish holiday of Lag BaOmer. We’ll gather together in McGolrick Park for music, nosh, holiday learning, and cozy community connection.
Lag BaOmer is a Jewish holiday celebrated on the 33rd day of the sacred time known as the Omer. Traditional celebrations of this holiday are centered around fires. And while we won’t be starting a bonfire in McGolrick, there are so many other ways to celebrate the fire inside of us, and share our inner glow.
This event is a potluck—details will be shared as the event approaches. The program is primarily intended for families with children.
