Carbonated Cabaret is presented as part of Brooklyn SeltzerFest. Brooklyn SeltzerFest returns in 2026, an annual celebration of all things seltzer and related effervescent topics. Set in iconic Industry City, Brooklyn SeltzerFest is a full-day family-friendly spectacular.

This year’s Brooklyn SeltzerFest will have two sessions, each with their own performance of Carbonated Cabaret.

Session 1 | 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Seltzer sampling, booth and floor activities + festival programming, including the seltzer-tasting competition and family-focused programming.

Carbonated Cabaret (early show) | 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Session 2 | 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Seltzer sampling, booth and floor activities + festival programming, including the 3rd National Egg Cream Invitational.

Featuring

Willie Zabar

Willie Zabar is a New York City-born comedian and writer as seen on Hulu. He has performed at numerous festivals including Showcation and Borscht Belt Fest, and has been featured in the New York Times and The New Yorker.

He is also co-founder of Practically Safe Media, an animation studio that specializes in hand-drawn shorts and fire safety PSAs.

Yoni Benyamini

Yoni Benyamini is a Brooklyn based musician, who has been writing and composing original songs for the better part of two decades.

His love of music was cultivated during childhood road trips with his family, which exposed him to America’s rich and diverse musical landscapes. His approach as a pianist and vocalist is influenced by jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Fats Waller and Hoagy Carmichael.

His first album of original material is set to be released in 2027.

Eva Sturm Gross

Eva Sturm-Gross is a Brooklyn-based artist and woodworker. Drawing from theology, mysticism, and narrative traditions, her practice explores the intersection of traditional craft and visual exegesis. She holds a BA in Studio Art and Religious Studies from Oberlin College and has exhibited nationally at the Wharton Esherick Museum, Ohio Craft Museum, the Kent Museum, and Art Basel Miami Beach among others. She has been an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center and Penland School of Craft and currently teaches woodworking and carving in New York. Eva is the Art Director of Gashmius Magazine, an online publication putting out politically progressive Jewish content drawing from Hasidic and mystical sources. Her work engages themes of exile, redemption, and the sacred through embodied and narrative forms.
