Join us for a workshop presentation of excerpts from The Dybbuks - a new opera composed by Daniel Schlosberg, with a libretto by Jerry Lieblich.
The Dybbuks is a queer operatic reimagining of An-Sky's classic Yiddish drama, Der Dybbuk. A ghost story of star-crossed love and inherited trauma, about two young women whose desires remain unknown even to themselves, straining against the narrow confines of their world, The Dybbuks asks: what does it take to become something more?
This workshop presentation will be directed by Ash Tata.
