The workshop will offer an exploration of playful ink drawing, combining mindfulness, movement, meditation, intuition, and flower essences. We will explore the fluidity of water and ink on paper, learn a few fun techniques to use, and practice intuitive drawing as a tool for self exploration, curiosity, and healing. We will collaborate to make a shared drawing as well as work on individual drawings.
We will begin with a short mindfulness practice that includes breath, movement, and a short guided meditation to set the tone for the workshop, and inspire some of the themes that the workshop centers around. We will then proceed to making ink drawings, both individually and collectively. We’ll use different types of inks and brushes - DIY brushes and traditional ones, and activate our drawing surfaces with natural remedies and flower essences that connect us to nature.
No prior experience in drawing is needed. The workshop is open to adults of all ages.
