About the event
Join The Neighborhood and Kabbalistic Tarot teacher Mark Horn for a special workshop guiding us through the connections between Jewish mysticism and Tarot, where we will learn a practice for spiritual reflection during the period of the Omer using the Tarot deck.
Kabbalistic teachings can feel abstract, even for those well-versed in Jewish mysticism. This workshop is designed to make esoteric knowledge accessible, while giving you hands-on experience using the Tarot for the traditional practice of inner growth and spiritual reflection known as Tikun haNefesh. The particular practice this workshop teaches is grounded in the time of the Omer – a 49-day period in between the holidays of Passover and Shavuot in which each day is ritually counted.
No previous experience with Kabbalah, Omer-counting, or Tarot is needed.
