About the event
Join us for a mystical ceremony of chant, ritual, and dance in the Sukkah, connecting to the ancestors, and calling in the energies of connection, abundance, and joy. This gathering will be facilitated by R' Jericho Vincent with Sacred Musician Carla Friend, Rabbi Arielle Krule, and DJ Julia Edelman, and will take place in an art installation Sukkah.
This evening will begin with the ritual of Havdalah and then move into a chant practice using both our words and our bodies. Eventually, our dance chant will morph into an Ecstatic Dance-style DJ set, opening up the Sukkah for collective movement.
This event will take place as part of Sukkot in The Neighborhood – a festival of Jewish arts, culture, and spirituality taking place in an art installation Sukkah in Brooklyn. Check out the full line-up of events here.
