About the event
Join The Neighborhood on Thursday, June 20, at 7:00 PM for an exploration of Jewish 2SLGBTQIA+ pathways to parenthood and the many avenues people may take as they consider expanding and growing their Queer Jewish families.
Rabbi Nikki DeBlosi will share Jewish sources and stories to spark conversations about the role of queerness in Jewish parenting, navigating life cycles, and re-envisioning what Jewish families can be.
We will then transition to a conversation with experts in family planning to learn about topics related to Queer family building, such as clinical care, psychological safety, and legal planning. This discussion will be moderated by Laura Vladimirova, LMSW, facilitator of the Jewish Fertility Foundation’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Journey to Fertility Support Group and will feature family law attorney Beth Karsevar and RMA Patient Navigator Melanie Allmer.
This event is intended for those who want to consciously introduce a Queer dimension to their approach to Jewish parenthood.…
