Sukkot invites us into one of Judaism's most beautiful, if radical acts: we leave the security of our homes and dwell in a structure that is, by design, incomplete. The roof lets in the stars. The walls don't quite meet. The structure is entirely impermanent.

This Sukkot, join Or HaLev meditation teacher Shira Abramowitz for a Jewish mindfulness workshop, aligned with the mitzvah of sitting together in a sukkah. Through a combination of teaching, partially guided meditation, and group reflection, we'll explore what happens when we touch into this notion of impermanence through embodied practice. Together, we’ll practice with how we might release some of the tightness of perceived structures in our lives, and how we can tap into the joy, love, and freedom at the heart of our being. 

What becomes possible when the perceived structures and rigidity of our lives are removed? When we are able to truly touch our vulnerability? What lies beneath the protective walls we build? And, how does this connect so directly to joy, to simcha, the essence of this holiday?
